Choose the setup that matches how you are taking the tutorial.

Attending the live tutorial

Live tutorial

You should have received a credential card containing:

  • Your username.
  • Your password.
  • Your assigned tutorial server.

Continue to Connect to the tutorial server.

The live environment is already prepared. You do not need to install Conda, TaskVine, Floability, or any other tutorial software.

Following the tutorial on your own

Self-managed

If you are running the exercises on your own x86-64 Linux computer or server, continue to Create your own environment.

You will create a local Conda environment containing the tools used in the tutorial.

Live participants: Do not install another copy of Conda or modify software under /opt/tutorial. Your exercises and Floability environments will be created inside your own account.
